What is affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing is the process of referral, you the affiliate marketer refers a
product or services to someone and you will earn a commission if a sale is made.
The affiliate company will supply you with affiliate links that you can paste into your HTML codeing.
The affiliate company will then track all the sales made through that link
and pay you a commission on any sales.
They will also let you track your sales through their web site.

I personally chose to only use one affiliate company, Affiliate Window.
They are very good and the range of different affiliate programs that they have is staggering.

Google Adsense is basiclly Googles affiliate program, Webmasters, (People that run websites)
are paying Google Adwords to promote their adverts on Google.
When an ad gets clicked, Google take a predetermined amount from the webmasters budget.
The Google Adsense program then takes the pre determined amount and pays it to other Webmasters,
that promote ad’s on their site or blog.
Example:I run a web site that teaches people to play Golf.
When I join the Adsense program, Google will supply me with a Java script code that I paste into my website and
because Google is so good they can read my page content and display adverts that are relevant to the web pages content, like Golf.
The Adsense program can be set to payout in Pounds and not Dollars.
Amazon Associates
Amazon is the biggest internet retailer, which also has one of the best affiliate programs.
Basically, you can put any item that is sold on Amazon on to your site, and sell it.
When you sell something, Amazon handle the entire shipping etc.then they pay you the associate a commission.
Best of all, if the customer also buys other items off Amazon, without leaving their site, you get a commission on all the sales.
Yes you could just be advertising a five pound book and end up getting commission on the sale of a Xbox.

Ebay is a fantastic way to making money online, especially if you are just starting out.
It is free to set up, you only pay when you list an item for sale and that is so cheap it is ridiculous.
You can sell anything from DVD'S to cars.There are lots of people that have started out on ebay, just selling a few items
and over time have turned it into a full time business.
