Submit to Seach engines
When your web site has at least 15 to 20 pages, it is time to start submitting to the seach engines
Most web users only use a hand full of seache engines, Google, Bing, Ask, and Yahoo.
There are more engines out there.But most of them are just portals to the more popular ones.
if you can be found on the main engines you will deferently appear on the lesser ones.
So dont even bother submitting to them.
When you have submitted it may take weeks or even months for your site to appear.
So be patient and do not keep submitting as this can get you banned.
Google is the leading seach engine in the world with over 112 million seaches a day
and around 1.5 billion page hits per day.
Thats a hell of alot more than Bing and yahoo.
Google was create by founded by Larry page and Sergey Brin, back in 1995. With an idea called Pagerank.
Pagerank is an algorrithum that lists seache results according to the number and quality of websites that link to each result.
So if your site links to a highly popular site with good content and a massive amount of traffic the this is a good vote for your website.
Pagerank total up the number of votes and assigns your site a number between 1 and 10 to show its popularity.
The results that appear on the first page of Google are the ones that contant all your seache critria, but also rank highly in Pagerank.
Google has lots of differant tools for a webmasters to use. These tools make it lot easyer for webmasters to make a success of there websites.

The more pages with chunky content the higher, you are likly to rank.
